COP5.0! Wiley heat pump coupling system helps accelerate the development of the bio natural gas industry

Recently, the coupling application system of biogas slurry waste heat industrial heat pump jointly developed by Hangzhou Energy Environment and Suzhou Energy, a subsidiary of Weili, has achieved significant results in the Kanghong Animal Husbandry project of "adopting a cow".

Since the system was put into operation at the beginning of 2025, the stable heating capacity has reached 3.301 million kWh, with a power consumption of only 655000 kWh, successfully replacing traditional biogas boilers and saving about 678000 Nm ³ of biogas annually, greatly reducing the self consumption of biogas in the anaerobic treatment process.

According to the current market price of biogas, the annual direct economic benefits exceed one million yuan, and the annual carbon reduction exceeds 8000 tons, achieving a triple win-win situation of energy conservation, environmental protection, and economic benefits.

Based on the successful experience of the Kanghong Animal Husbandry project, the team has completed iterative upgrades in the Pingyi project of "adopting a cow", achieving standardized implementation of the pry module and breaking through the pain point of the "start-up heat source preparation" industry - directly providing start-up heat to the anaerobic fermentation system through industrial heat pumps, no longer relying on external heat sources, forming a full cycle energy solution of start-up heating+operation insulation.

Based on the industrial heat pump application practice of Suzhou Energy in projects such as Nantong Budweiser Beer, Weili has added important achievements in the field of energy structure transformation and efficient utilization of waste heat.

The group's technical team has achieved three core technological breakthroughs through more than 30 years of accumulation in anaerobic treatment of organic waste:

1. High energy efficiency and quality improvement: With a COP of 5.0 or above, the system can raise the temperature of waste heat to over 65 ℃, accurately meeting the constant temperature requirements of anaerobic fermentation;

2. Anti clogging and efficient heat transfer: The wide channel design solves the problem of biogas slurry blockage from the root, increasing heat transfer efficiency by more than 30%;

3. Pry assembly integration: Factory prefabrication and on-site "plug and play" greatly shorten the construction period and improve operational stability.

The coupling system of biogas slurry waste heat industrial heat pump has replaced traditional biogas boilers, increasing the output rate of biomass biogas resource utilization by 15% -20%, and promoting the transformation of waste heat from "direct discharge" to "core heat source". In the future, the team will further integrate the entire energy cycle of "anaerobic fermentation - biogas slurry waste heat recovery - biogas residue drying" to create a more complete energy technology solution.

Looking ahead, this technology can be widely applied in various scenarios such as livestock and poultry breeding, kitchen waste treatment, and industrial wastewater resource utilization, helping more industries achieve energy-saving and carbon reduction upgrades, and providing continuous technical support for China's energy structure transformation and the implementation of the "dual carbon" goal.
